The Governors of South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust have arranged an event on Monday 10 October 2011 to offer local residents the opportunity to attend a talk about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) from Dr Nippani, one of Warwick Hospital’s leading professionals in this field.
Dr Nippani, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology will deliver the talk that aims to give Members and local residents background information about the topic, as well as giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions.
Hormone Replacement Therapy is a treatment used to replace the female hormones that a woman’s body is no longer producing because of the menopause. Oestrogen and progesterone have very important roles in a woman’s body. When levels fall, this causes a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms. HRT can restore these hormone levels and enable the body to function normally again.
The event will take place on Monday 10 October 2011 at 7.30pm at Kenilworth Library, 11 Smalley Place, Kenilworth, CV8 1QG. These events are free to attend. Non-Members of the Foundation Trust will be able to join the Trust at the event. There will be an opportunity for Members to ask questions to the Consultant and to their Governors. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided. Spaces are limited so pre-booking is essential. Places can be booked by contacting the Membership Office on Freephone 0800 085 2471 or by emailing membership@swft.nhs.uk.
