Bishop welcomes new Chaplains to Warwick Hospital

On Wednesday 10 August the Bishop of Warwick held a service at Warwick Hospital to welcome two new additions to the Trust’s Chaplaincy Team.

Rev Rosemary Pantling and Rev Sue Miles have joined the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) as Chaplains, having previously fulfilled similar roles in parishes within the local community.

The service was well attended with the Bishop preaching to a full chapel, including Glen Burley, Chief Executive, members of Staff, Chaplains and Lay Chaplains, family members and friends were also there to support Sue and Rosemary as they start their hospital journey. During the proceedings The Bishop of Warwick licensed them both to work for the Trust.

Lead Chaplain Frances Tyler was keen to praise everyone involved; “It was wonderful day to see so much support for Rosemary and Sue. We are also very grateful to the Bishop and to the Trust for their continued support. The new Chaplain’s will be vital in helping us provide much needed support to our patients, staff and visitors.”

The Trust offers comprehensive spiritual support to people of all faiths with established links to local faith community leaders.
