First baby welcomed at Warwick's new birth centre

The first baby has been welcomed into the world at Warwick Hospital’s Bluebell Birth Centre.

The baby girl was born at 5.50am on Wednesday 4 July 2018. Midwives Alba O’Donnell and Hayley Russell supported Isabel Hopkins in her birth. The baby girl has been named Misty and weighed 8lbs 3ozs. Isabel and her husband Dale Hopkins were delighted to be the first parents to have their baby in the new birth centre.

The midwives on shift were thrilled to also put their first polaroid photo of the new family on the tree.
