Macmillan Information and Support Centres in our hospitals

What we do

The Macmillan Information and Support Centres in Stratford and Warwick hospitals can offer you resources about all aspects of cancer, diagnosis, treatment, side effects, practical advice for example about equipment. We also offer a listening ear.

We can also refer you to sources of support like financial/ benefits advice, and psychological support, and if appropriate to district nurse and specialist palliative care services in the community.

You can drop into the Centre if you are attending for an appointment but if not or if it is more convenient you can telephone or email the Centre. Leave a message and we will reply as soon as possible.

If you visit the Centre we will be wearing masks and keeping a 2-metre distance like other health care professionals.

Although support groups, complementary therapies and other face-to-face opportunities for patients are limited at the moment you will find virtual opportunities in the monthly newsletters which you can find below.

Have you had a Cancer diagnosis and worried about money? Do you want to know what help is available with grants, non means and means tested benefits? Then contact Coventry Citizens Advice Macmillan Benefits Advice Service in Coventry & Warwickshire. We offer support and advice to people affected by cancer. Even if you have a good income and/or savings we may be able to help you with non means tested benefits.
