Developing stroke services in Coventry and Warwickshire - Public Consultation

Three local CCGs (NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG, NHS South Warwickshire CCG and NHS Warwickshire North CCG) launched a consultation on Wednesday 9 October 2019 on proposals for the future of local stroke services.

They want to improve stroke services for local people. To make this happen services need to change and investments into specialist rehabilitation, ambulance transfers and medicines. They feel that it is important to make this investment in order to reduce the chances of people having a stroke and the disability resulting from a stroke.

The proposed option has been developed with local clinicians, patients, carers, community groups and the dedicated patient and public advisory group.

Check out the following for details of the proposed option, the work undertaken and how the proposal was developed:

  • Summary consultation document

  • They want to understand the views of as many people as possible on all aspects of stroke services, so please complete the survey at www.strokecovwarks.nhs.uk and give your views.

The survey closes on Tuesday 21 January 2020.
