| Response Volunteers The Response Volunteers are members of staff who have come forward to become Response Volunteers; their duties have included supporting the Emergency Department during extreme pressure, picking up medication from the pharmacy, helping to discharge patients, visiting patients on wards who are confused or lonely, assisting with mealtime support and refreshments, helping pack patient's belongings, clothes and personal belongings ready to go home and helped coordinate patient transport and sat with patients whilst waiting to be discharged. | Medical Education The Medical Education team organised a cake sale at Warwick Hospital to raise funds to help the victims and survivors of the Turkey and Syria earthquake. The group raised a total of £640.19 which will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). We would like to send our sympathies and condolences to all who have been affected and extend our support to our staff members who may have family and friends living in Turkey, Syria and neighbouring countries. |  |
