Response Volunteers
The Response Volunteers are members
of staff who have come forward to
become Response Volunteers; their
duties have included supporting the
Emergency Department during extreme
pressure, picking up medication from the
pharmacy, helping to discharge patients,
visiting patients on wards who are
confused or lonely, assisting with mealtime
support and refreshments, helping pack
patient's belongings, clothes and
personal belongings ready to go home
and helped coordinate patient transport
and sat with patients whilst waiting to be discharged.

Thank you to our Response Volunteers.
You have already made a difference
to our Emergency Department and wards.
