Strategy update - Helping people live happier, healthier lives

Over the last few years the NHS has changed dramatically. From managing the pandemic and experiencing exceptional levels of demand, to changing the way we work with other NHS and our wider partners. As this new landscape for health and social care develops, we want to make sure as an organisation we are in the best position to respond to new ways of working and ensure we are able to continue to deliver high quality care to our communities.

To support this we have evolved our strategy which is underpinned by five big moves we will make as an organisation to support healthier, happier lives. We have worked with staff from across the whole organisation, as well as partners to identify these priorities.

Support for Refugees

The Trust is built on desire to help and care for people. For any refugees arriving in England, you will be able to access NHS healthcare free of charge and our Trust will be a safe and welcoming place.

In response to the devastation taking place in Ukraine we are continuing to work with the Department of Health to identify surplus medical equipment and supplies to transport to areas in need.

Thank you to our compassionate staff who are continuing to offer support and coordinate donations to help the people that need it.

If you'd like to show your support for Ukraine and its people, there are several charities which are working to donate goods, supplies and humanitarian aid to the country. Below are some examples:
