Our Community Wellbeing Hub is a community space within Stratford Hospital that provides information, support, and signposting on a range of health and wellbeing services in Stratford and the surrounding areas.

Current activities at Stratford Hospital:

Our Bereavement Cafe has been running since May 2022. It is an informal setting for anyone who would like to chat. The cafe is supported by The Shakespeare Hospice, Samaritans, and others who have lost people they care about and may be experiencing the same kind of feelings.

Held on the first Wednesday of every month between 15:30 - 17:00.

Join us for an afternoon of crafts! A free monthly activity for people in our community to come together to share skills or to learn new ones. A space to meet and have a chat, refreshments provided.

Held on the third Thursday of every month between 14:00 - 16:00.

Our monthly gardening group is run by Forest of Hearts and provides a chance to get outdoors, connect with others and help maintain the green spaces around the hospital. The group is open to all local residents but is particularly good for those who feel lonely or emotionally down at times and for those looking to use their time and energy to make a difference alongside others.

The group meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. We ask anyone interested in joining us to get in touch beforehand or to register via this link: Green Therapy Application Form 2024

A supportive group for women to come together and talk openly about their experiences of Menopause and perimenopause. There will be expert input, practical information and peer encouragement. 

Held on the third Thursday of every month between 18:00 - 19:30 pm. 

A gentle, accessible way to keep active and improve overall wellbeing, suitable for people of all fitness levels, including those with limited mobility limitations or recovering from illness or injury.

£3.65 per session. Held every Tuesday 13:30 - 14:30 pm.

This friendly group provides support for Stroke survivors and their family's and friends, including the opportunity to talk to other members who understand. There are group exercises, therapy and talks by visiting speakers at most meetings.

The group meet every other Thursday 14:00 - 16:00 pm.

Discover the calming, flowing movements of Tai Chi. A gentle class involving slow, mindful movements that improve balance, flexibility and coordination while helping release tension and quiet the mind.

£6 per session. Held every Friday 11:30 - 12:30 pm.
