A Reasonable Adjustment is a change to care, information or the environment that makes your experience safer, easier and more accessible.
You do not need a diagnosis to have a reasonable adjustment.
Examples of changes we can make for you:
- Understandable information - Large print, easy read, braille, other languages
- Interpreters - Help with sign language or different spoken languages.
- Extra Time - More time to think, talk and make choices.
- Support with - Your routine, appointments, feeling comfortable on the ward.
- Quiet spaces - Calmer areas with less noise and light.
- Daily assistance - Help with moving, eating, personal care.
We can also involve family, carers or advocates to help you make decisions about your care if you want to.
What to tell us:
- What help you usually get
