South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) is currently recruiting for new governors to represent all communities in Warwickshire.

Your NHS Trust believes in removing barriers to ensure everyone in our community has equal access to care. By becoming a Governor you can play a pivotal role in assisting SWFT to achieve this aim and help to shape local health services by supporting the development of strategies and plans and sharing important feedback from your area.

SWFT, who gained an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission, provides a range of healthcare services, with hospitals in Warwick, Leamington, Stratford and Shipston as well as providing community services across the whole of Warwickshire from Alcester to Atherstone.

SWFT deliver a range of healthcare services, which includes;

  • an average of 83,000 initial outpatient appointments a year
  • an average of 198,000 follow up outpatient appointments year
  • approximately 3,000 births a year
  • an average 752,500 community contacts a year
