Local business donates cuddle cot to Warwick Hospital

Parents of two boys who were born at Warwick hospital have gifted the Maternity Unit a cuddle cot for families who have gone through stillbirth and neonatal death.

Michelle and Simon Rothwell presented the cuddle cot to South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust's Bereavement Midwife, Hannah Wilkinson, on Friday 16 November along with other members of the maternity team.

Simon is a founder of CuddleCot which is used in most hospitals throughout the UK. It is a key piece of equipment in supporting families after the loss of a baby, allowing extra time, slowing down the necessity to make decisions quickly which they may regret, and allowing more families the chance to take their baby home to grieve in their own way.
