Our ambition to help people live healthier, happier lives

Over the last few years, the NHS has changed dramatically. From responding to Covid-19 and experiencing exceptional levels of demand, to working more closely with our partners across health and social care.

In response to this new landscape, South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has refreshed its strategy.

The Trust’s ambitious plans have been developed through feedback from staff at all levels of the organisation, partners and members of the public. This wider involvement has enabled the Trust to consider priorities, challenges and opportunities which have been incorporated into five big moves, which underpin the strategy.

  • Be a very flexible employer
  • Supporting Domiciliary Care
  • Lead the NHS in carbon reduction
  • Embed prevention in every service
  • Home First supported by technology and collaboration

These big moves will help SWFT to create healthier, happier lives. Delivering these big moves will be through organisational plans and measured as part of annual objectives.

Glen Burley, Chief Executive said: “This refreshed strategy outlines how we will be able to make a difference within our communities. Partnership working is going to be a really important aspect with delivering this strategy, but with the shared goal of improving the health and wellbeing of our populations, I am confident the Trust and our partners will be able to help people to live healthier, happier lives.”
