We would like to applaud Laura and Jodi who are both newly qualified nurses working within SWFT for their incredible hard work to complete the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship Step-on course. They are the first two at SWFT to qualify on the step-on course, and we wish them all the best in their career at SWFT as Registered Nurses. Next Generation Nurses

This winter, the team will be carrying out a trial targeted at helping vulnerable patients living in fuel poverty and unable to heat their homes properly.

The team have received fuel poverty awareness training from local charity, Act on Energy, enabling them to identify patients and refer them to receive relevant help. They will also be handing out 50 Warmth Packs funded by FP Hurley, the company carrying out the decarbonisation project at Warwick Hospital, containing items such as blankets, mittens, and an informative leaflet

Hollie Robinson, Tissue Viability Nurse wins WOUNDS UK Rising Star award!

Hollie was presented this prestigious award by Lorraine Grothia, Head of Medical affairs at Urgo Medical. Lorraine praised Hollie and told her she had achieved so much in such a short space of time.

Our Trust took part in Discharge Focus week, which involved numerous daily activities to foster teamwork and creativity while providing support and awareness for the discharge process. We would like to thank all those involved in facilitating the Discharge Hurdle events and for raising awareness of the discharge journey
