January

Our first SWFT Superstar of 2024 goes to Farries Ward and ISS, Facility Services for turning a very difficult situation into something extraordinary for a patient who sought to fulfil their last wish of getting married.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the individuals who played a crucial part in making this special moment possible.

Keeping hydrated is really important for a patient's recovery, so we have launched a new initiative at SWFT to improve hydration and reduce clinical complications.

This initiative started Monday 8 January and staff are engaging in the project and teams are even having competitions to see who has the most yellow and green jugs in their bays! Patients are also enjoying the challenge of getting to a green lid.
