Currently due to the COVID epidemic some services are running differently in order to comply with guidelines and as such may not form part of the current pathway. This includes the mini-health screen and the post-surgery knee classes.

Our SWAT team was started in 2005 and has evolved since then. Initially it was a group of nurses and physiotherapists helping patients to recover at home after their surgery. Now it is expanded to oversee the entire patient journey, from the time the patient is put on the waiting list for surgery until they are recovered in their own home.
