Our Trust has signed a national NHS commitment reaffirming our determination to tackle antisemitism, anti-Muslim hostility and all forms of racism.

The commitment, signed by NHS Chief People Officers across England, follows Lord Mann's review into antisemitism and other forms of racism within the NHS and healthcare regulatory sector.

As an organisation serving diverse communities, we are committed to ensuring that every patient, visitor, volunteer and member of staff is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, regardless of their background, ethnicity, faith or beliefs.

We believe discrimination of any kind has no place in healthcare. Everyone should feel safe, welcome and valued when accessing our services or working within our organisation.

By signing this commitment, we are reaffirming our ongoing work to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, support colleagues to speak up about concerns, and foster a culture where discrimination and racism are actively challenged.

We will continue working with colleagues, staff networks, patients and local communities to ensure our services and workplaces are inclusive, respectful and welcoming for all.
